How long does delivery take?
Most orders reach you in 5–6 working days from the day we ship. You'll get a tracking link by email the moment your package leaves us, so you can watch it make its way to you and plan your building weekend accordingly. If the tracking ever looks stuck or something seems off, email us at info@kitsumi.in straight away and we'll chase it down for you.
What is actually inside the box?
Basically, everything except the music and the snacks...those are on you. Every kit comes with pre cut wooden sheets, a detailed step-by-step instruction booklet and all the tiny decorative bits that make the scene feel alive.
I'm not artsy at all. Will I still be able to build this?
That's exactly who these kits are made for. No painting skills, no prior craft experience, nothing. If you can follow a recipe, you can build a Kitsumi kit. The pieces are numbered, the instructions are illustrated, and there's no judgment if step 12 takes you forty-five minutes. Slow is the whole point.
Can I build it with a friend or partner?
Absolutely! Some of our favourite builds happen in pairs. One person reads the instructions, one person slots the pieces. It makes a genuinely lovely afternoon.
What age is this suitable for?
Our kits are designed for ages 14 and only because some pieces are small and the glue needs careful handling. That said, we've had parents build alongside their kids and call it the best Saturday they've had in years. Use your judgment; just maybe supervise the gluing bits.
What if a piece is missing or arrives broken?
Replacements are on us, no questions asked. Write to us at info@kitsumi.in with your order number and a quick photo, and we'll sort it out. We put together every kit ourselves in Bangalore, so we take missing pieces personally.
What if I get stuck mid-build?
Every kit comes with a detailed step by step instruction manual. In case if you do get stuck, we've got you. Head to the Kitsumi YouTube channel for step-by-step video walkthroughs for every kit. The videos follow the same instruction sequence as your booklet, so you can pause, rewind, and watch someone else figure out step 17 before you attempt it yourself.
Is this a good gift for someone?
