Return and Replacement Policy

We make every kit by hand in Bangalore, so if something is not right when your box arrives, we take it to heart and we will make it right.

The most common thing is a piece that goes missing or turns up broken in transit. If that happens, just email us at info@kitsumi.in with your order number and a quick photo of the problem. We will send a replacement for free, and you will not have to jump through a single hoop to get it.

Now for returns, here is the honest situation. Because our kits are build it yourself sets full of small pieces, we are not able to accept returns once a kit has been opened and the build has begun, a bit like how you cannot really return a cake after the first slice. If your kit arrives and you have not opened it, and you simply changed your mind, reach out within 3 days and we will help you arrange a return.

If your order shows up damaged, faulty, or just plain not what you ordered, that one is on us, not on you. Email us within 3 days with your order number and a photo, and we will arrange either a replacement or a refund, whichever works better for you.

When a refund does apply, it usually finds its way back to your original payment method within 5 working days.
