About Us

Kitsumi started with a pretty simple feeling. Somewhere between school craft projects and grown up life, most of us quietly stopped making things with our hands. Evenings turned into scrolling, hobbies into tabs we never opened. The last thing a lot of us actually built was probably a decent sandwich.

We wanted to bring that feeling back, even if only for a few cozy hours at a time.

So Kitsumi began as a little way to share the joy of building something with your own hands. Our kits are tiny worlds you put together piece by piece, like a glowing alleyway that lives between your books, or a little flower shop so sweet you will want to move in. You open the box, follow along with the illustrated booklet, and watch the whole scene slowly come to life in front of you. There is no rush here, and honestly no wrong way to do it. If step twelve takes you forty five minutes, that is kind of the point.

You really do not need to be artsy or crafty or especially good with your hands. If you can follow a recipe, you are already qualified. The pieces are numbered, the instructions are illustrated, and there are video walkthroughs on our YouTube channel for the moments you get a little stuck.

Every kit is designed and made right here in Bangalore. We put each one together by hand, so when a piece goes missing we genuinely take it personally and send a replacement, no questions asked.

We like to call it building slow. In a world that wants a piece of your attention every single second, there is something quietly wonderful about sitting down with a cup of chai, some music in the background, and a little wooden world waiting to be built. That feeling is the real thing we are making. The kit is just how it reaches you.

Welcome to Kitsumi. We are so glad you found us. Now go build something.
